Design and Implementation

From single server implementations to multi network, multi site deployments, REDXR has the expertise necessary to design and implement an IT system to suit your business requirements.

Documentation Creation

IT Systems are often in a constant state of flux and documentation can get out of date very quickly. Documentation is usually created on inception of a system and very rarely updated once the system is deployed. REDXR can provide a documentation service:

• Create documentation for an existing infrastructure
• Review and update existing documentation
• Provide documentation of undocumented areas

Server Healthchecks

Very often systems are deployed and left running without thought for maintenance or regular healthchecks. Often business growth has seen systems have to meet requirements above and beyond what they were designed for. REDXR can perform a health check on your systems, this includes (but is not limited to):

• Establishing a baseline for the current system
• Matching what the system was originally designed for against the performance of the current system
• Identifying areas that could cause performance bottlenecks
• Design recommendations to ensure that the system is performing optimally
• Allows for a clearly defined upgrade path (if required)
  

Infrastructure Review (Design Healthcheck)

IT infrastructures can grow quickly and unless they are carefully managed and maintained they can become overwhelming. REDXR offers an infrastructure review which will map your current IT topology. This allows you to catalogue the current environment. REDXR will, where appropriate, make recomendations on areas where the infrastructure can be improved and processes put in place to stop the IT systems becoming outdated an unmanageable.

Upgrade and Migration

REDXR can assist with upgrades and migrations, from an advisory capacity to managing the entire process. A large number of issues can occur due to the nature of a legacy environment and not adequately preparing for the migration. At best this migrates existing issues, at worst it introduces new issues into the environment. REDXR can offer the expertise to prepare the environment and offer assistance every step of the way, from network to server to the desktop.

Disaster Recovery

It is often the case that inaccurate or out of date documentation, lack of testing a restore procedure and inexperienced administrators can make a disaster recovery of a server take a long time, or worst case fail completely. REDXR can provide documentation, co-ordinate "firedrilling" and perform the disaster recovery.

Vulnerability Assessment

With the "always-on" nature of the Internet and increased reliance on email and websites, the threat of attack is greater than ever. REDXR can test your internal infrastructure and external web presence for vulnerability to opportunist and targeted attack. Full malware sweeps of all network devices, penetration testing of network etc. REDXR will provide written reports of any vulnerabilities along with our recommendations to improve your security.
